Home Motion Detection

Motion Detection for your Home, or movement detection is the process of detecting a change in position of an object relative to its surroundings or the change in the surroundings relative to an object. Motion detection can be achieved by both mechanical and electronic methods.

Movement or Motion can be detected by one of more of the methods listed below  :

1. Infrared sensing,  using : Passive and active infrared detectors.
2. Optical, using : light sensors, video or camera systems with motion analysis.
3. Radio Frequency, using : radar, microwave and tomographic motion detectors.
   
4. Sound, using : microphones and acoustic sensors.
5. Vibration, using : triboelectric, seismic or inertia sensors.
6. Magnetism using : magnetic sensors and magnetometers.
